No toys for Christmas

Well we have taken the very unusual step of no toys for Christmas. As most parents know Christmas means more toys entering our homes.

I saw a post about waste and I thought about how many toys get either thrown away or sold on to make room for the new. Then I wondered, why do we all do this!! With this I realised no more, I would get items that will be used in the year.

This also helped me shop local and it helped me to space save. More importantly it meant I saved more money than I ever have done.

So if you think my girls won’t have anything you’re certainly wrong. We have new pyjamas, food and much more. Don’t forget it’s the memories you make with your babies that they will remember not the stuff you brought.
